Features

Peck once. Perfect prose.

No copy-paste. No app switching. Just one press and your text stops clucking nonsense.

One press fixes the input you're already in

kokot reads the active text field of whatever app you're in (WhatsApp, Gmail, that dating app you swear you deleted) and rewrites it in place. You never have to switch apps.

  • Any app
  • No copy-paste
  • Instant

A bubble that follows you around

The little hen floats above every screen, out of the way until you need her. Drag her anywhere. She won't attack.

Ask Why

Every fix can be explained in plain language. "Your subject and verb weren't on speaking terms." You learn something. Slowly.

Rephrase in any tone

Formal, casual, flirty, corporate hostage… Same idea, different plumage: pick the tone that lands.

FAQ

Frequently asked cluckings

Everything people ask before joining the coop.

kokot is an Android app that corrects the text you are typing, inside whatever app you are typing it in. A floating button reads the text field, fixes the spelling and grammar in place, and can explain the correction or rephrase it in another tone. It runs on Google Gemini, or on your own API key.
The Android beta is in its final feathers. Everyone on the waitlist gets the APK the day it lays its first egg, and the first to sign up get Pro free for three months.
It can, but only where you let it. No app is enabled by default: you pick them one by one in the settings, and kokot reads nothing anywhere else. In an app you have enabled, it uses the Android accessibility API to read and rewrite the text field you are typing in, whatever that app is.
Your text goes straight from your phone to the AI for the correction and comes right back. It never passes through a server of ours: we never see it and we keep nothing, no history. What the AI provider does with it is covered by their own terms, which we cannot speak for. With your own key, it is your account and your agreement with them.
One use is one question asked to the AI. A correction is one use, asking why is another, rephrasing is a third. Simple chicken math.
On Free and Pro it is Google Gemini, with nothing to set up. With your own key you pick: Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or an Ollama server you run yourself. Paste the key in the settings and kokot stops counting.
iOS does not let an app read another app's text field, so not for now. If Apple opens that door, the hen flies over.
